Voices for the Five brings together international personalities, trade unionists, and campaigners from all corners of the world to call for freedom for the Cuban Five, five Cubans wrongly imprisoned in US jails for fighting terrorism against their country.
A number of people in the United States have already added their names together with international personalities including academic Noam Chomsky, Oscar winning actor Emma Thompson, former Archbishop of Canterbury Lord Rowan Williams, and author John Le Carré who have already signed up to this online call for justice for the Five. Although one of the Five, René González, was released earlier this year after completing his sentence, the remaining four prisoners have been in US prisons for more than fifteen years. International campaigners need to join together today so that our united voices are heard in the White House and these men are reunited with their families in Cuba.
