チャベスの逝去に際しての声明 「キューバを知る会・大阪」
ベネズエラ・ボリーバル共和国ウーゴ・チャベス大統領の逝去に際して
現地時間3月5日午後4時25分、ベネズエラ・ボリーバル共和国のウーゴ・チャベス大統領が逝去されました。心より深い哀悼の意を表します。
チャベス大統領は、ベネズエラにおいてボリーバル革命を牽引し、またそれにとどまらずラテンアメリカ・カリブ海域全体の真の独立と完全な平等・互恵にもとづく統合のために、キューバと固く連帯し先頭に立って闘ってきました。そのためには帝国主義との、とりわけ米帝国主義との熾烈な闘いが必要でした。チャベス大統領は、それに全精力を注ぎ、志半ばで斃れました。
およそ200年前にシモン・ボリーバルがおこなおうとして果たせなかった、帝国主義による植民地支配からの真の独立・解放と、ラテンアメリカ全域の真の平等・互恵にもとづく統合という壮大な事業は、チャベス大統領によって受け継がれ再生し、21世紀のボリーバル社会主義共和国とラテンアメリカ・カリブ海域共同体（CELAC）として実現されようとしています。これらはチャベス大統領が主導し推し進め、ベネズエラ人民とラテンアメリカ・カリブ海域の諸国人民によって支持され、担われてきました。
それはまた、人類の未来を切り開く事業でもあります。この事業を成し遂げる闘いは、チャベス大統領亡き後も必ずやベネズエラ人民によって、またラテンアメリカ・カリブ海域の諸国人民よって、受け継がれ闘い抜かれるにちがいないと私たちは確信しています。そして私たちもまた、搾取と支配・抑圧に反対し闘う全世界の人々とともに、ベネズエラをはじめとするラテンアメリカ・カリブ海域の人民と固く連帯し、この全人類的事業の一端を担っていきたいと思います。
チャベス大統領が実現しようとした理想、植民地的支配・抑圧と搾取・収奪からの真の独立・解放、諸国人民の完全な平等と互恵、信頼と連帯にもとづく地域統合、これらが実現し全面展開していくための第一歩はすでに切り開かれています。そしてこの21世紀において必ずや実現していくにちがいありません。
あらためて、チャベス大統領の偉業に限りない敬意と共感を表し、その死を悼みます。

At the death of President Hugo Chávez of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela
On March 5th, at 4:25 pm local time, President Hugo Chávez of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela died. Sincerely from our hearts we express the deepest condolences of ours.
President Chávez has been strongly pulling the Bolivarian Revolution in Venezuela, and with the strongest solidarity with Cuba, he also has been fighting at the head for the true independence and the unity of the whole Latin American and the Caribbean area on the basis of complete equality and mutual benefit. It required fieace battle against imperialism, especially U.S. imperialism. He pulled almost all his energy and vitality into this battle, and died on the halfway of his will and purpose.
The grand work of the true independence and liberation from the domination by imperialism and the unity of the whole Latin America on the basis of true equality and mutual benefit, which Simón Bolívar tried to realize but couldn’t accomplish about 200 years ago, is succeeded-to by Chávez and has come to life again. And it is to be realized as the Socialist Bolivarian Republic and the CELAC (Comunidad de Estados Latinoamericanos y Caribeños). These have been pushed forward in the lead of Chávez and supported and shouldered by the people of Venezuela and also the peoples of Latin America and Caribbean countries.
This is also the work that will open up the future of human beings. We do believe that the struggle of carrying out this work is surely succeeded-to and fought to the end by the people of Venezuela and also the peoples of Latin America and Caribbean countries, after Chávez’s death. And we too, hope to shoulder a part of this all-humankind work together with the peoples all over the world who fight against exploitation, domination and oppression, with the strongest solidarity with the peoples of Latin America and Caribbean countries, especially Venezuela.
The ideals that Chávez has pursued to realize : the true independence and liberation from the colonial domination and oppression, and from exploitation and plunder ; the unity of all the peoples and nations on the basis of complete equality and mutual benefit, reliance and solidarity ; the first step for these ideals to come into being and then to develop fully is already cut open. And these are certainly to come into reality in this 21th century.
Once again, we express much respect and sympathy to the great achievement of President Chávez, and mourn over his death.
